Le Petit Roc is an 18th century farmstead nestling in the beautiful, rolling countryside of Sud Charente, a bike ride away from the charming village of Aubeterre situated on the River Dronne, the border between the Charente and the Dordogne. The main farmhouse, barn and cottage have all been renovated to a high standard, but retain many of the original features and their rustic charm. Set within four acres of private gardens and woodland, it also boasts an exceptionally large, 18 x 7m, beach entry pool with diving board, and a tennis court.
We have become a favourite venue for families (extended families and groups of families) who are seeking a peaceful environment to relax “en famille”, whilst taking advantage of the facilities and surrounding countryside to make it an active and healthy experience.
Besides swimming and tennis facilities you will also find full size sand volleyball and petanque courts on the landscaped platform, with a large grass area to play a variety of ball and other games such as football and badminton. It is also a great location for walking, cycling, horse riding, kayaking, mountain biking, and many other activities and interests.
Getting here is easy with access by plane, train and car, it is the ideal location for relaxing holidays; for couples, families or large groups.
